Trust

I purchased this paint donkey who I named “Sierra” as a companion for my Arabian mare and really wanted to use her in a painting, so I arranged for a photo shoot with one of my favorite Native American models. It was remarkable how after just a short time of interacting the two felt so safe and comfortable that I was able to catch this tender moment. She depicts a young Ute girl enjoying the bond of her trusted new friend.
